I developed the complete visual identity for DVD JEANS, a sustainable fashion brand focused on upcycling thrifted and vintage materials into one-of-one pieces. From designing the logo and curating the Instagram presence to directing photoshoots and crafting all graphic media, I built a brand world rooted in punk aesthetics. Bold, raw, and rebellious, the graphics mirror the brand’s ethos: edgy fashion with a conscience.

about DVD JEANS
-
At DVD JEANS, nothing goes to waste. Every piece is made using upcycled materials: from old clothes, shoes, and curtains to forgotten jewelry, blankets, and hats. and unwanted garments are reworked into something bold and completely new. This isn’t just fashion, it’s wearable art with a second, or third, life. Sustainability isn’t a trend here, it’s the whole point.

David Grishin is the creator behind DVD JEANS . He is a designer in his 20s based between New York and New Jersey. What started as a personal project, reworking his own unworn clothes into something he actually wanted to wear, has grown into a full-fledged brand rooted in sustainability and self-expression. With an education of trend forecasting and a deep knowledge of fabrics, David pours intention, craft, and love into every piece. His work isn’t just fashion, it’s a passion for individuality, sustainability, and expression.

The visual world of DVD JEANS reflects products: raw, rebellious, and individual. I created the entire graphic identity, from the logo and typography to the Instagram feed and photoshoots, to reflect the brand’s punk undertones and sustainable center. The visuals are meant to feel loud, imperfect, and alive. Just like the pieces themselves, the branding reclaims what’s old and gives it a sharp new edge.
