The Pheonixville Vintage Fest
More than a market, it’s a community.
How I branded my booth:
Having a booth at a flea market of mostly curated vintage, I wanted to let it be known that everything I am selling was well loved by ME. I’ve been collecting the clothing I grow out of since high school, and came across the perfect opportunity to sell it all right in my community.
As much as I wanted to stand out from other booths, I wanted my branding to speak to the environment I was in. With faded yellow coloring and bold red accents, I was able to blend the vintage aesthetics with my own personal style. The miniature ‘Chia’ in the center fosters conversation and draws customer in.
CHIA’S CLOSET
While the main sign needed to be clear and bold, my secondary signs were able to play more. I created a recognizable shape to house the copy, and created a new ‘mini’ to tell a new story.
Expanding the Branding
Personally, I feel awkward taking payment from my peers, so I created a playful sign with another new ‘mini’ (now waving) to say it for me. Still enclosed in this identifiable shape, The branding was carried to the final step.
